This month’s selection for Buses on the Web is Bus & Coach Photographs.

This site represents a superb collection of bus and coach imagery from around the World, supplied by not only the site owner, Marcel Gommers, but also via the ability for other people to contribute content directly via the website.  The site also has a unique feature that allows you to build up an album of your favourite photos on the site, certainly useful if you want to find your favourites in a hurry.

All in all, a really nice, easy to use, content packed website for the bus enthusiast community.

This month’s selection for Buses on the Web features someone who’s photographs and newsgroup postings have kept me amused for a quite a while now.

Peter Horrex is a Bus Driver based at Metroline’s Potters Bar Bus Garage and he has recently added to his portfolio of websites with his own blog which gives a drivers eye view of what it’s like to work “on the buses”.

Well Worth a visit as are Peter’s other websites.

This month’s selection for Buses on the Web is the excellent Ian’s Bus Stop.

Created by Ian Smith, this site is an absolute gem of a resource containing tonnes of information & photographs about London Bus Types from the 1930’s up to the late 1990’s.  Ian also provides information and reports about Country Bus Rallies events across Southern England.  All in all, this is a must bookmark site for enthusiasts.

Welcome to another new feature on London Bus Photos. With the large online community of bus enthusiasts growing almost daily, there are hundreds upon hundreds of websites becoming available that are full of interesting articles, photographs and other information pertinent to the rest of the enthusiast community that seem to get buried in the mass of available media.

To publicise these sites, and allow the community as a whole to enjoy them, I am going to select a website once a month that I believe deserves some recognition for content, quality, or just sheer enthusiasm.

With the above statement in mind, there can only be one choice for the first featured website, Jimmy Sheng’s superb Fotopic website. It has been my pleasure on many occasions to meet Jimmy and I have always found his enthusiasm infectious, he is always full of energy and this is reflected in the huge and diverse range of photographs he has uploaded in the past few years.
