28-29 Nov: London Transport Museum, Acton

Guided Tours of the depot will be undertaken over these two days.  This is a good opportunity to view items in the LTM collection that are not on show at Covent Garden.  More details of events and the collection can be found here.

Provisional Dates for 2009

Here I have compiled a list of events scheduled to take place in 2009.  At this stage the listing is provisional and none of the events listed are guaranteed to go ahead.  As soon as I receive confirmation on events, I will update this section with more details.

22 March: Kingston 2009 RF event, 30 years since last RF service. Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey.
5 April: Annual Open Day and Bus & Coach Gathering, London Bus Preservation Trust, Wisley Airfield, with bus services to Cobham Museum and Weybridge Station.
12-13 April: Medway Festival of Steam & Transport. Chatham Historic Dockyard, Kent. 01634-823800.
16 May: Theydon Bois Transport Bazaar & Bus Running Day, Theydon Bois Village Hall
14 June: Bromley Pageant of Motoring, Norman Park, Bromley, Kent.
5 July: North Weald Bus Rally, North Weald Airfield, near Epping.
5 September: Theydon Bois Transport Bazaar, Theydon Bois Village Hall, with connecting buses to Chingford Royal Forest Hotel.
